Press Check .50 Beowulf mags

Wasn't there an RCMP bulletin making all the 50 Beowulf mags illegal if they hold more than 5 rounds of 223?
I know a bulletin does not make it law but would it really be worth the headache of having to go to court to get your stuff back?
Mine sit until there is more clarity on the legality of them.

No such bulletin exists.

No clarity (other than the opinion of a tech) on the legality has been given

Thanks for the clarification because there's just wayyyyy to much to read in that other thread.

Really hope it works out for the guy who's getting the screws put to him over this.

However, The FRT legal comments do exist and there is a case with someone charged with the offense noted in the FRT table going before the courts back east.

Not to mention various documents and emails from the RCMP SFSS stating the same legal opinion/interpretation to potential manufacturers of 50 beowulf magazines when samples were sent in to the RCMP.

There is a new Beowulf mag made by another company in Canada. You can order to: ht tps://www.canadatacbeowulf.com

One of the glaring flaws in our legal system...how can the crown get away with this, they are supposed to understand the statutes and act on them, not use the courts to harass citizens. It is the Crown that's behind this, otherwise his stuff would be returned a few days later, or within two months anyway, since the only evidence of a crime being committed is an opinion of a Tech.
