Press Check do you do it ?

... Now before you jump up with the flame thrower, I'm not saying all officers are like that and I wish they all took an interest in firearms and realized that the only people that need to be kept from firearms are criminals. They could let the rest of us have full auto's, suppressors, and unlimited capacity magazines and no one anywhere would be in any more danger than they are now. Unfortunately the political agenda over the last 20 years (or more) has been conditioning society to be afraid of guns and to think that only police and military should have them.

What I found interesting is that in a match I ran a couple weeks ago all three officers who competed used LAR-15s. They were young guys so maybe it's a generational thing.

I printed off a copy of the regulations from the RCMP website and have a copy in my range bag just in case.
.

This is a good idea and I do the same.

Tried mine. they all held 15 very tightly, and were a bugger to insert with 15, due no doubt to the mag walls flexing outward. Fine with 14. Only one failed to hold the bolt open after the last round.

Not cheap, but there's something to be said for watching smoke curl off your barrel after some quick work with the gong.

Where did you find 5 for 90 bux?!?! I laughed when i saw someone selling them on the EE for $75 each plus shipping

Yeah I saw that too and then was even more shocked to see they were sold. Whats up with that anyways? I thought we weren't aloud to sell these on the EE? Even a sticky at the top of page. I have 4 of them Id like to un load but don't want to list them if were not supposed to.

When it came to selling them I sent multiple requests to a mod about it and didn't hear back. I eventually posted them in the EE but didn't name them specifically (mags that shall not be named). They sold quickly and I then removed the ad. Hopefully mentioning this doesn't get me a post ad infraction (but this was months before their thread about not allowing sales).

I hear you. The PCV ones don't hold a candle to the real deal AA ones (my opinion). I actually prefer the ATRS 10 round mags over the PCV ones.

Well I said it before and I will say it again. If we ever got a 10rd .50 Beo pistol mag that would obviously hold 30rds of 223. We would see Ottawa re-wright the mag capacity regs or the RCMP would revisit their interpretations. Simply we would be back to 5rds of 223. We would lose much for a brief gain.
