Anyone ever hear of this company. Canadian company.
556 mags made of plastic, for 50 cal, 5 rounds but I guess more for 556? 50 cal? Like in 50 beauwolf?
Model # PVC-50.

Yeah they got the banhammer fast, some still float about, if you find one nab one for yourself and don’t advertise you have it,

When you describe the PCV magazine like that, it really highlights the RCMP argument and is basically proving them right to limit it to 5 rounds of 5.56.

EDIT: To not be so cryptic, the RCMP say the PCV magazine is just a relabeled 5.56 magazine so it should be limited to the original 5 round design limit of 5.56 and not to 5 rounds of .50 Beowulf or whatever caliber it was.

Actually, they said that ALL 50 Beo mags were just repurposed 556 mags, so they all needed to be pinned to 5 rounds of 556. Like they said that the 30 crimped to 10 'pistol' mags were all rifle mags and needed to be pinned to 5.

They say they're fine because they were made as pistol magazines from the start. They're splitting hairs at that point, what's the difference from a 30 round body that was "made" for a full capacity AR15 pistol and then crimped?

I don't think we'll see anyone charged over a just beowulf mag, back at the time of introduction the RCMP and Justice both said they were legal. I know some guy here get charged and pleaded out but he also had a grow op or something.

They were fun in their time as they would hold 14 rounds of .223/5.56, but caused lots of double feeding issues as they got older because of the weak plastic feed lips.

There were also some Alexander Arms metal .50 Beowolf mags pinned to 5 rounds that were available, those would also hold a little over 10 rounds of .223/5.56 depending on where the rivet was installed, but they were going for around $80+ per magazine. They were much better fuction wise compared to the PCV's, and they were licesnced .50 Beowulf mags so people felt safer law wise using them. However like most things our GOV ruined the fun on those eventually, you could only find them pinned to 2 or 3 .50 Beowulf after they changed their import rules on them, leaving you with the normal 5 rounds of .223/5.56 capacity.
