Every once and awhile I squirts some CLP or oil onto the various links and pins in my press. I runs smoother, I notice.
Last week the lever on my old Redding 6-hole turret broke - again. 3rd time in 50 years.
I drilled out the 1'2" hole to 9/16" and installed a spare Dillon handle I had. It is a bit beefier, so may last longer.
In the process I noticed that the cross pins were dry. The oil I have been squirting did not migrate onto the pins.
So i reassembled with some moly grease on everything, and made a note to re-grease them next year.
