Anyone knows who could accuratly test the pressure of my handloads?

I am wondering if some canadian company owns some device like an Oehler Research system 85 Balistic intrumentation or something that does a similar job.

I would like to test some 9mm and eventually some .308 WIN (case and port pressure).

I am not sure about how exotic ($) this project is but I really would like to have an accurate idea about the pressure of my handloads.

A company stateside produces a unit called " Pressure Trace " . It is both accurate (repeatable) and affordable (<$600). The proprietor is excellent to deal with and provides tech support on a personal level. Hope this helps....... Tsavo

I know of two major labs that can do this kind of testing. The EXPRO lab in Valleyfield (maker of IMR powders) and the gov't lab (Explosives branch) in Bells corners, Ottawa.

As a customer/manufactuer I have both do a lot of testing. I doubt IMR would test for you but the gov't lab does charge for testing and might do it for you.
