Has anyone played with the stocks that Marstar is selling
They require fitting, just like most of the stocks available.
If the rifle just "drops in" it's to loose and will soon have other issues, once the shooting starts.
It doesn't seem to matter where the stocks come from.
Some of them require more fitting/sanding than others.
One of my biggest complaints about some of these stocks is they've rubbed dyed Linseed Oil into them. This makes it very difficult to stain the stock parts to match properly.
I find that all the stocks, whether NOS or repros, have too much lateral play at the rear.
I understand why they build them that way, but eliminating the issue takes a bit more work.
