Scooped this in Dawson Creek on Saturday. The salesman took me upstairs to look at three more other than the one on the rack. The third one he took out of the box, pulled the plastic sleeve off. His eyes popped, he handed it to me and said, "Congratulations sir!" He took it downstairs and showed it to a few salesmen.

It looks better in real life. :)

Yep. Compass broke. Stepped outside one day, and made it to Yellowknife, Hay River, Fort St. John and now safely in Grande Cache. Only bought two guns so far, the one above and a nice No.4 Savage off the EE. Need to step it up a bit!
 
Dang, I picked mine up last year when Prophet River had a bunch of them. Took my pick of their selection and never regretted it.

I would've liked to get one with the traditional large front sling loop, but this was the only model available at the time. I refinished the stock and tinkered with the innards, and now my dad wants one for himself :D
