Just unboxed my rcbs kit that I have been waiting so long for. Go through all the packages and instructions, pull out all the pieces only to find I don't have a primer arm for my press. No biggie since I have the hand primer tool...but wait, no primer rods for that either. So as it sits I have no means of priming. I was pumped to get into it while I have some time off but now I have to call rcbs and hopefully get my missing pieces. I will probably just end up buying another hand primer in town in the meantime. Either way, kind of a bummer.

check all your packaging again, when i got my RCBS kit many years ago i thought i was missing a piece or 2 but it turns out it was wrapped in what i thought was just padding packaging

that being said, RCBS customer service is second to none, a quick phone call and i garuntee the bits will be in the mail to you at no cost.

if you want, i can dig threw my parts bin and see if i have the primeing arm for the press , assuming you have the rock chucker

When I first got into reloading I picked up both set's of LEE shell holder's. Some I'll never use but it's nice to have them!

I bought the lee universal set to use with the press and hand primer. I might just pick up another rcbs today and still get my missing parts. Like it was mentioned, I am sure having more than 1 hand primer isn't a bad thing.

Why buy another rcbs one?? Email them they will get the parts out to you asap no cost. Break something of theirs? They will get the parts out to you asap no cost.

As the boys have mentioned, tear every piece of packaging apart just to make sure. If you are still missing parts, just go to the RCBS website and email them. I actually broke an RCBS die one time, emailed them, explained that it was MY FAULT, and they still sent me the replacement parts FREE OF CHARGE. Great customer service. Also, they responded to my email within a day. If they did screw up and not pack everything, you may even get them to hurry the shipping so you can get to the reloading faster!

I once emailed them and told them I lost the large primer rod for my hand priming tool and couldn't find a replacement and they sent it out to me, no charge. Arrived in about a week.

Which kit? Not all of their kits come with a primer arm on the press. The Rockchucker and Explorer kits, for example, only come with the hand primer.

I just picked up a rcbs hand primer which uses standard shell holders. It is nice to have more then one. And that gift card was already burning a hole in my wallet!!!!

I just emailed them my issue and they are away from the office until the 5th. In the meantime I picked up a lyman hand primer to do the job.

I know the kit is supposed to come with these missing parts and I am confident they will take care of me.
