I grabbed this at Milarm the other day for 170 plus GST. I have a Factory 316 Chinese, but wanted a Russian as well.
It was the first rifle buddy handed me and I snapped it up. It seems to be an early 1950 Tula, as it shares some features with the 1949 and late 1950.
The firing pin is spring loaded, non chrome barrel. Note the hole in the takedown pin, and the tab on the gas system latch.
There are refurb marks, note the notches in the bayonet to make it seat well, the grind marks on the ferrule, and it had a 1954 stock.
I decided to strip the stock, stay tuned for pics.
