I use a small paint brush and simply spray the brush with G96. I "paint" all the nooks and crannies. Easy. Keep a light film of oil and it won't rust. As said before, these old girls are very rust resistant anyway. Bluing techniques of days gone by are far superior to "bluing" on many of today's rifles.
