I've been searching like crazy and I can'e seem to find a dealer. Anyone know where to find their stuff?

BTW, PRI is Precision Reflex Inc.

ATRS told me last year they could order stuff from them but they don't stock it. It was pretty expensive all said and done. Like $500 for a .308 AR delta.

They have built a few rifles with PRI handguards in the past. Don't know if they were customer supplied or what not but yea, try asking them if they still get those.

Wolverine IIRC can get the PRI carbon fibre handguard, PRI gas block and the ARMS top rail and rear sight; other than that you'll need the OPS Inc. muzzle brake and collar, and an 18-ish inch match grade barrel if you want to stay true to spec.

Personally, there are better muzzle brakes out there than the OPS Inc. one, and you can go with whatever length barrel you want, but IIRC 18" is the length for the SPR barrel.

One day I'll likely go for a MK12 Mod-o clone and use the Daniel Defense 18" CHF S2W barrel, and probably an AAC micro muzzle brake.

Awaiting a quote from ATRS.

I've sourced pretty much everything I need. The only deviations from stock will be the lower, trigger and optic. Now I need to get some dies and start working on a Mk 262 clone. Anyone have a recipe?

Are trying to stay true to spec or as close as possible?

Unless you buy an actual Mk?? Upper, it's really hard to get alot of these clones right up here. Mostly because our suppliers are limited to what they can actually get ITAR wise.

You could swap out the PRI CF Sleeve and opt in for a DD MFR and put the difference into a match grade barrel, say Noveske, ATRS etc. This what some guys do stateside.

Clones are addictive. I haven't finished a Mk18 yet and I'm already amassing parts for a 16" RECCE

Yeah, trying to stay as close as possible. I'm looking at PRI as they were one of the original contractors. One of the guys who worked on the project at CRANE has also left and started a company, these guys:

As far as I know they both have the douglas barrel which is the biggest deal. To be honest the rest is just aesthetics to me.

Still waiting on quotes, we'll see what the ITAR gods have to say.

Problem with doing a Mod 0 clone is the A.R.M.S #38 SPR-PEQ-2-3 rail has been discontinued and when they pop up for sale , people want over $400 !

When you do the PRI forend of the Mod 0 it just doesn't look right without the A.R.M.S #38 SPR

High Caliber sales ( if you read the fine print ) uses the PRI version . Its the closest copy you can get . ITs still hard finding the rail

With the Mod 1 clone, it is easier to to complete . Only issue you may have is that the availability of the KAC FF Rifle length for the Mod 1 is sporadic....everyone wants a URX nowadays

If you want alternative for original barrel go to Centurion Arms ...they are making perfect off the shelf Mod1 uppers

Another alternative is get a Noveske SPR barrel....it will have the proper shelf for the suppressor collar that is part of the proper Ops Inc 12th model

As far as the Ops brake....it is actually pretty effective and its what makes a Mk12 clone !
