Price check: 1894c

Seems to be in great shape, cycles and shoots great. Action has been worked over.

I picked up a stainless off the EE for around 650$ a few months back. I sold my blued with skinner sights for around the same.
If it's microgroove rifling instead of ballard it will lose some appeal. If it's a late model Remington production you'll be low-balled.
As long as it's in safe working condition I wouldn't advertise the action as being worked. I have seen many a firearm where the action was "tuned" by a do'er yourseffer and I would tend to avoid one of those on the EE. That is not meant as an offence to you. I'd try for 625$ shipped.

An 1894c is $617 new at Ellwood Epps. I'd say no more than $575 in excellent condition, for a normal gun. With these new Marlins I would personally pay less due to the ####ty action feeling most have.

617$ plus 75$ tax plus 30$ shipping is around 725$. WHEN you can find them in stock.

If I was in the market for a used 1894C I'd gladly pay around 600$ from a reputable member for a clean pre-remington example.
