If you want the speed the Stingers are a bit faster 1600 something if I remember correctly they both shoot about the same for me. I pay somewhere in the $45 range and get them from Lawry Shooting Sports. They always seem to have them in stock.

^I find the Stingers to have a lot of zip in them however they're lacking in accuracy compared to the Velocitor.


Velocitor is the perfect round IMO. Big bullet doesn't lose kinetic energy at 100 yards like the stinger (actually faster than the stinger at 100yds), big hollow point, nice and accurate.

Stingers shoot high because they have less weight, Aguila 60-grains go low b/c they have more...

Well, the Stingers I've shot - the Aguila I've only read about - wish I could get my hands on a brick or two!

Aguila Super maximum are probably the fastest I've shot. I never got the accuracy I wanted, but that is always a trade for a really high speed.

I just bought a couple of bricks of CCI Minimag HP from Reliable this weekend and they are selling for about $35. They shoot real well out of my 1022 compared to just about everything else. Tried some Velociters and seemed to shoot about as well. Not exactly cheap ammo but decent stuff too.
