I would love to get my hands on a 5R in wm as well but since I already own a 110 FCP HS in 338 and been shooting the 300wm as my main to go hunting caliber which I replaced this year with a much light T3 in 7mm RM to reduce weight so my choice will be narrow back to the 308 as a long range paper puncher due to its less cost prohibitive than the LM and better than the 223 in terms of ballistic wise 500 yards and up.
Not saying the 223 is not capable as I read Jerry's article on it for 1 mile but for me as an average shooter I prefer something less prone to effect by elements so at this stage the 308 will be my choice, it will be nice to own each variant of the 5R though (223, 308 and the 300wm).
