I'm getting out of restricted rifles; a friend wants to buy my Bushmaster XM15 E2S, w 2 uppers (20" and 10.5").

Specs:

  • Bushmaster XM15 E2S; RRA 2-stage trigger; maybe 1500 rounds through both uppers combined
  • 20" HBAR, 5.56 1:9, freefloated under the handguards (RRA National Match free float tube, if I remember correctly), w VFG, bipod and Bushnell scope, cheap flip-up sight (not shown) and Bushmaster carry handle with 4X fixed-mag carry handle scope (not shown).
  • 10.5" HBAR, 5.56 1:9, w quad rail, VFG, cheap light, Nordic Components comp, and Bushnell Holosight. Also Magpul MBUS, not shown.
All in awesome condition. I'm thinking $1800 - sound reasonable? Or am I too high?

thanks!

looks like a shamless plug to sell your rifle.

Plus, nothing in that picture looks "freefloat". Why are you saying it is. I can clearly see the handguard attached to the barrel...

It looks free floated. Look at the space between the front swing swivel and the barrel. It's attached to the tube, not the barrel.

My guess is its a Rock River Arms National Match free float tube. They look stock, but are free floated.

Smak Daddy is correct! It is in fact free-floated :) (and very accurate, I might add!)

Nope, not a plug to sell the rifle - you ain't gonna see it on the EE! It's already sold, just determining price, as I value the friend I'm selling it to and want to be fair! Thanks for the comments, though - very helpful.

Was it a tight fit to attach the bipod? How much space is there between the tube and handguards?

Any tips? I'd like to build a similar setup.

I love that factory look with the free-floated goodness.

Ditto, I like the look too :) There's a rail attached to the bottom handguard, which the bipod is mounted on. Lots of space! (and yes, I know the inside of the handguard got a little butchered )
