I have been offered a U.S army 1911 in NRA `fair' condition -rough,possible small parts replaced but shootable.Any thoughts on value? I do not have pics
or sn range unfortunately.
 
Fair can mean crap to not so crappy.
Maker is important on these.
Keep in mind that you can get a norinco
new for about what this may be worth.
with out seeing it , I would say 250.oo- 300.oo
But as a dealer I would pay 150-200 for parts.
 
Kind of what I was thinking Marshall.This thing looks like it was recovered from Pershing's grave.I would take a chance on it for 250.00 tops,if nothing else it should part-out for that.
