A2 USMC sniper stock flat green, bedded fully adjustable almost flawless for marks
Versapod front stick, and bi-pod (really nice )
USMC MT sling real deal.

gun is Unfired, what you would offer a guy for a rifle like this. Please give an honest price as he is a friend of mine and needs some $.

I would guess there is over $ 4500-5000 tied up in equpment and smith work here, but what is a package like this worth on the local market.

Thanks

I paid about $3000 for a similar setup with a Bartlein barrel and a Badger bottom metal. Not including optics mind you. $3500 with optics is not that great of a deal. Especially since it is still a factory barrel. Maybe $3500 if it was a match barrel.

The Mk 4 10X is 2189.00 without tax its self along with 350.00 with bases and rings. new

Sounds like it would be better to part it out.

3500 won't be a quick sale IMO.

I agree its hard to believe you can put a 5000.00 custom rig together and get so little for it, even unfired..

Parts list is scope =2189.00
Rrings and base =350.00
Versa pod 175.00
Case 350.00
A2 stock unsure... but at least 650.00
action 500.00 with bottom metal
smith work about 250.00

anyway oh well

That scope is way overpriced. If you want to spend that much on a 10x scope go ahead, but you can get a NF 5.5-22x56 in whatever reticule you want for under 2k.

It will still shoot no better than a $400 factory Savage with an $89 bushy with that factory barrel. But it will look cool.

where? all those i see are at 1800 or the whereabouts before taxes and shipping that's not much under 2k. Well technically it is but then 3$ is also under 2k

From the pics you showed my in the PM.

$1200-$1400-Remington 700P
$2000-$2200-Leupold Mark 4 M3 10X
$400-Mark 4 base and rings
$350-Pelican case
$150-Versa Pod
$800-$1000-McMillan A3 fully adjustable stock
$400-Gunsmith work
$200-cleaning/accessories

These are just base prices that I have found.

Regardless of certain one sided opinions, you have a nice package there and looks like you got a killer deal on it based on retail cost.

And it drives 5 rounds into one ragged hole...

I shot it today for a test run, 45.0 gr of varget and 168 smks well just work...

Not anymore its not!

Now that its mine I stripped it down to adjust the tigger and to have a look, and there was alot of time put into this one, and work.

I cannot see how anyone could have anything bad to say about the MK-4 10x, clear as any I have looked at and seems rock solid.

There's nothing bad to be said about the Mk4 except for the $2200 it was bought for (for a fixed power, no less). For that price, I'd rather have a NF or even pay a few hundred more for S&B, USO, etc.
