I am dispersing an estate and need to put a value on a Luger 1913, Artillery model, in 30 Luger.
The handgun is in very good condition, I will post some photos tomorrow.
Thank you.

1913 luger pics - posted for x_tester

For my mother, from my fathers estate, we are trying to value a 1913 artillery Luger all matching serial number XX39, re-barreled 9mm (restricted), with original 9mm 12 inch (305mm) barrel, both front and rear sights are on the barrel.

The registration certificate indicates that it is a "1920 commercial dated 1908"
which I can not substantiate based on the markings.

If higher resolution photos are needed for identification please PM or email me. Any help in estimating value for the the estate would be appreciated. Thanks. Egan

What you have is a pistol that started life as a 1913 dated Erfurt produced P08 (4 inch bbl). Sadly I has had alterations & has been buffed & reblued. In it's present state it's best considered as a ``shooting piece``. As such I'd put a value in the $600.00 range.
