So I might as well pipe in here, as all have stated great price.......but as SKBY stated it could be too good to be true.
This thread might prompt me to post a sticky on parts conditions and quaility.
I'll take some pictures of some of the bad purchases that I've made and post when I have some time.
Looking for the proof dimple is a start, the condition of bolt face, firing pin hole and lug wear.
Here's another one......look at the condition of the roller lug .....I had one that wasn't great looking on the end......kind of rough. Well the roller would bang off within a 100 rounds. I used up about 4 of my replacemant rollers before turning it into a armourer tool.
If the FP hole is jagged or seems large......not good, if the bolt face has a burn ring wear it touches the primer......not bad, but if the ring has a lot of pitting......not good. The pitting and large FP hole are both reasons for the Armourer to toss the bolt.
Lugs.......this might be harder to tell how used the bolt is especially after it has been re-parked or blued......but with a well trained eye you at best might tell if it's f***ed....but I doubt you would have any way of eyeing the lock-up. Laz2000 did come to one of the tables I had set up at the yearly show in BC with digital calipers in hand....and knew what he was looking for.
So....boys........it comes down to.....knowing your stuff.....know your prices and know what to look for, otherwise you deserve this
I have seen many M14 parts in Canada still going for a song, I saw a barrel last year at show......looked like hell with no finish on it. I had my gauges in my pocket, it came in as .5 TE and 0 MW....ths thing was a steal at $75.
Many Canadian shooters don't know about the recent surge in popularity of the M14 type rifles. With Marstar bringing in loads of the M14s (M305) and the surge in the the M1A's in the US with the introduction of the Socom series and the high profile of the M14 in the war.

PS when is the yearly Coq show?
