Price check for HK

A friend is looking to sell his very good+ condition HK 91 rifle, and asked me what it's worth. I have no idea what to suggest for a current Kanadian value.
Anyone have thoughts on this?
Also, anyone know if this one could currently be legally exported to the USA?

I have seen Dewat ones go for around 1500-ish, and 12.5's (named as Prohib as the 91 is) I have seen go from anywhere from 1800 on the EE (sold in a couple minutes) to maybe 25-2600-ish.... Maybe start with 3000 and work your way down over time...

Not too experienced with Prohibs though since I don't have a prohib license.

Hopefully someone else can give some info on them.


You will also need to find someone with a 12.5 POL to get it, assuming it is of course registered properly.

No way the ATF would approve the forms to import it. the HK9X series was banned from import into the USA quite a while ago, even the SR9's with the thumb hole stocks...

Sorry but those numbers are way too high a good condition HK91 will go from $1500-$1000 depending on condition,if mint in the box maybe $2000.00. It is nothing but a safe queen thanks to the CFOs who somehow have the power to override Federal Law.

I have seen those also at $600-1200. EE is never a good guage.

I think it can be exported to the USA by canadian law, but US import laws will not allow it. Some of their rules on importing are really stupid.

US is not the only foreign place to sell it, you might be able to find a buyer in Europe.

90% + of the stuff in the EE is used, so I use that term loosely. If the pistol is in excellent condition, there's no reason for someone to low-ball like that... it's f*cking insulting.
