I'm trying to sell my Kyle Precision Rail for my Swiss Arms Rifle, anyone have any idea of what I should price it at. I want to sell it cheap so that it goes quicker, but I don't want to rip myself off either.....it's either this or I'll trade it for some more mags for my Swiss Arms

Whats it worth? how much should I ask? Or how many mags should I ask for?

Anyone have an opinion?

Ugh, the lettering on that is terrible! I'm surprised that even made out out of the shop.

Can I ask when you bought the rail? Was it recently?

Personally I wouldn't pay more than $25 for a rail, but it is since it is a SA accessory that immediately adds another $50 to the price ;)

I just bought the rifle used, and it came with the rifle. I can't find any info on it when I search. I just don't need it. I have no idea when it was purchased

They were originally in the $160 range new if I recall correctly.
The only other option for people that want to run a rail is the B&T which is over $200 new.
NEA has indicated they are coming out with one, but I don't believe it is out yet, and have no idea of the retail of it.
I think an asking price of $110 - $130 is in the right ballpark.

Thanks dude, I really appreciate it:D

And thanks everyone else too, I have decided if I can't get two of the Radel (Beige/yellowish ones) magazines from dominion arms or $100+ship then I will keep it, I appreciate all of the constructive advice.

Dude your a troll, you go around picking fights with everyone who posts anything, if you don't have input that is constructive, then seriously man, F**K OFF

Please, I rarely go picking fights. Infact almost never, so I'm not sure why you think this. I just see alot of inconstancy on this stuff. I've been warned about threads like these, so that was my whole point. Perhaps I should've used one of these :p I wasn't trying to come off as a total ass, just merely poking you with a stick alittle bit. lol

So heres my input since this thread appears to be ok...

I owned a KPA rem700 rail. I think I paid 125 bucks new. However the finish/lettering was alot cleaner. I sold mine for 50 bucks. So yours perhaps 50-75.

The reason I ask when it was purchased is because the lettering appears to have burrs and a flat bottom. This would indicate it was cut with a small center drill in the first run of scope bases. For the bases we sold to the public, I personally hand filed all bases to remove such lettering burs.

However, the first run of scope bases were cut by the "journeyman" machinist before I came alone using his programming and less than ideal tooling. You can't teach an old dog new tricks, comes to mind. My concern is that Jay Kyle is offloading all those bases that were fully completely but rejected for sale due to being out of spec or not to my standard. There have been two threads recently mentioning Kyle SAN scope bases being out of spec. Even though I was screwed over by Jay Kyle and have nothing to do the Kyle Precision, I still have my name attached to all that product (whether people know it or not) and take it personally if he's selling junk that people may think I made.

Ahh Ic Ic, Well It's gone now, I sent it today, traded for 2 dominion defense mags, and I never actually shot with it so I wouldn't know if it was any good, the guy I bought the rifle off of seemed to think it worked fine, otherwise I am sure he would have mentioned it. Either way, the steel ones are too heavy for my liking, what are the down falls to the aluminum one that the shooters edge makes??
