I am considering selling 2 milsurps but not sure what they are worth. One is a molot mosin PU sniper 1944 Izhevsk refurbished, I will give it a 7/10 and the other is a 1950 Lee Enfield no4 mk1 longbranch ,full wood, I will give a 7.5/10. Any idea what they are worth, as I don't want to be the guy who is asking 2000 dollars for a 500 dollar rifle or vise versa.

In my opinion I would call the PU a 650$ gun and the SMLE a 850$ gun. I've paid slightly more for decent examples of each of these recently and don't feel ashamed to say so.
 
Without pics I'd say Zonk has a good estimate. I'd go a bit higher on the Mosin though, '44 is a less common year for Izhevyk. Also depends on if the scope is war dated or scrubbed.
 
Westrifle sells the PU Mosin for $580.

The 1950 LB in 70% condition no more than $600 IMHO and that is on the high side.

The LB is not a SMLE. A 70% SMLE will fetch over $700
 
I paid $600 for my '43 LB No4 Mk1 in full military configuration. I'd say it was 80%, so that $600 for the '50 LB might be on the high side.

It's awful hard to tell without photos......

I agree with both shredder and Bear hunter in their assessments. The lee enfields from corwin were priced high, and there is no reason these rifles should be priced as such in a country full of them.

The rifles at Corwin were in much better condition than 70%. Some of those rifles hadn't been shot since they were factory tested.

The OP stated his rifle is a MOLOT refurb. It may or may not have all original parts.

Corwin's lee's were in better condition and I would have tried to snagged a MkIII with matching numbers and cutoff, but they were all gone by the time I got home. It is hard to tell what the condition is when sellers put so little information on something they are trying to sell, case in point was a recent MKIII on EE. Martin at least rates his barrels from "very good" to Good+, indicates the bolt # and stock rating. All that extra information is worth paying for and I hope he gets more in.

I got one of the MKIII's with the cut off. All matching and in very nice condition for a 1917 rifle. I thought it was an excellent deal.
I'd pay $800-$900 for a 1950 Long Branch in similar condition. The days of the $500-$600 No4 Mk1 are long gone.
If anyone wants to sell an all matching No4 MK1 in fine shape for $600 just let me know.

I missed the 70%. The rifles I bought from Corwin are very nice with the last inspected by the armorer in 1960 tags. I would buy a 70% gun though, depending. But not for $800. The op should post some pics. Some people rate condition low and others way to high.
