Price check on 9mm para ammo...

9mm

I was just in the local gun store and the price has gone up . on everything also . 9mm american eagle was ???? 14.95 a box . so you do the math . if you don;t buy it you might lose out . your choice as things seem to be drying up .

I just bought 50 rounds of American eagle at $15. Comes out to about $0.30 a round, whereas the deal you've got is around $0.27 a round. Its an alright deal.

I would have to say $270 per 1000 for AE is a pretty good deal, my local shop sells them for $17.99 per box of 50..... so like $359.80 per 1000

There are other options for ammunition as well.....
Reloaded ammo from Combat masters is at around $212. per 1000 (9mm).

One of our site sponsors (SFRC) is selling 9mm stating at $220 per 1000..... That is for Wolf Bullets brand........

From what I understand Wolf Bullets are good for getting the round count up there but not much else, they go Bang every time but they are not the most accurate ammunition.

I've been shopping around for some cheap/inexpensive 9mm & 45 ammo for about 3-4 months now, needless to say, I am reloading for pistols and I am trying to see if I can get a reasonable price on loaded ammo, if I can I may just stop reloading....... Right now it costs about $120 to reload 1000 9mm & $140 to reload 1000 .45.... affordable but time consuming at about 10 hrs per 1000 single stage. I just bought a Dillion..... that should speed things up.........

I'm paying $14.95 for 9mm 124gr. UMC ammo. That's the cheapest I've found it locally.

I don't even bother with Combat Masters as they aren't interested in new customers. Three emails, and numerous phone attempts later, not even the slightest puff of wind that they're still in existence (I know they are, just saying...)

I just paid around 18/box of 50 for American Eagle 9mm Luger (145 gr) - that's $36/100 rounds. Don't know how that compares to 9mm Para as this is my first time purchasing 9mm of any kind.

9mm Luger, 9X19mm Parabellum, 9mm NATO are just different names for the same pistol cartridges. I wish it were simpler myself

Thanks a lot for all the responses. I think I will buy that case of 1000.
