Price check on a unfired stored for 30 years Parker Hale 303

Consider that these rifles sold for $60 when 94s sold for $99. Today a 94 goes for $700, and 60% of that is $420, for the PH or a nice Churchill, which were often nicer.

Gee whiz! I must have overpaid, and over-valued, some of my 303 chambered British made sporters, all of which are built on the older Lee Speed, Long Lee and C.L.L.E. actions, rather than this new-fangled No. 4 actioned rifle. I would absolutely LOVE to buy some more of these for only 4 C-notes!

Mind, I suppose that engraving, cape sights, barrel ribs, Pre-World War 1 French marble-cake walnut and engraved fish belly magazines all up the price a tad.

BTW, if I use the right ammunition, namely Mark VI or Mark VII depending on the rifle, they all hit the target in accordance with their sight settings, at least as well as my peepers can still make out a good sight picture.

A PH is not exactly...or even remotely...the equivalent of a BSA Lee Speed.

I would ask $500 for it at a show and take it home when the show ended.

Fixed it for you. As nice as it is, there isn't much market for them when you can pick up a Vanguard for comparable money.

I had one some years back that was in about 'good' condition over all but with a scope mount issue I found later, iirc I sold for 150 on here. I don't think they've gone up a lot. This one of course is worth more, maybe 300 IMHO. YMMV.

I had one on the table years ago, same as pictured built on the No.4 Mk.1 action with if I recall Lyman receiver sight and priced at $ 275.
Friday night before the show another vendor bought it and put it on his table at $ 550, it was gone before noon.

Sometimes at the gun shows it is a dog eat dog world.
Anyone that knows me will admit that I price my table for what I would pay to buy it myself, hence a lot of my stuff lands in the hands of other vendors.
We go to have fun, meet people and enjoy a weekend, usually I'm lucky to just break even.

A realistic price would be either side of $350 nice gun but still a lee enfield mass produced by the millions .also it has the ears cut off that is a negative they were put on there to add strength to the action . Having rear locking lugs the ears were there to stop the action from springing
