Hi guys a friend wants me to sell this for him but I need to establish a fair value for this item first. The rifle is a 1952 Winchester 70 .270 cal. The rifle has been used a lot but is not abused. Stock is solid with out cracks or major dings. The wood finish has been redone in the past and need to be redone again. Metal is good++ with most of the blue still on the barrel. Reciever is not blued (diffent metal??) has some very small amount of pittting. Bore is at lest 8/10. The pics should give a good est.

in that condition, and only able to assume the interior is similar to the exterior, I'd say it will sell very quickly around $550, and maybe someone would pay $750

It is a desireable year, but not so desireable or rare configuration. In mint shape it would be worth around $1100
