There is a local gun shop around my house that sells 5/20 round M14 magazines for $50. Is that a fair price ?

Is there any store out there that will ship them to your door for alot less, or is $50 average.

if you can get PAST the MADE IN CHINA thing, ( AND THAT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD) the marstar chinese made ones work just as well as the usgi- i'm assuming the 50 buck one is usgi- remember, when they were available ,the usgi ones from isreal were 5/50 UNPINNED , new in wraP- it's only the desirability and AVAILABILITY that allow the retailer to "get away" with this- i have 3 real m14s and one norinco and you can switch mags till the cows come home- they ALL feed, and lock in place- the ONLY time i got burned on mags was wheni ordered some 5 rounder SPRINGFIELD mags, which were 55 apiece, and that was b/c campbell was RUMORED to ban all mags over 5 rounds, and plugging was NOT going to be allowed

SFRC (Norc), $35, Milarm (Norc) $50, Marstar (Unknown brand), $35, etc. It seems all the new Norinco magazines have welded floor plates shut and riveted. The original "flavor" of these magazines are now like "bacon bits" at your local grocery: they taste like bacon, but it's NOT BACON! $50 is way too high for a 5/20 magazine. The 5 rounders come up in the EE all the time for $20 or less or even 3 for $40!

I too am in S. Ontario and the local guy here(in Steeltown) had the M14 for a few $ more than I could have bought online. He also has mags for the same $50.

I bought the rifle from him anyway, he threw in a few extra's without me having asked him.
A few days ago I bought a couple of the 5/20's too. He's been a good source of info and advice. For that I'll gladly pay an extra few dollars to support my local dealer.
