I have two Mexican Mausers I plan on selling, they've sat around in the gun cupboard for a couple of decades waiting for me to bubba them, and it's not happening.

One is a Model 1910 rifle in 7 x57, build date 1931. Full military wood, dinged and dark of course. Good bore, some pitting, but not bad.

The other is a Model 54 short rifle, based on the Mexican 36 action, in 30-06. These were built after Mexico had switched to the 30-06 (because of the immense amount of surplus ammo available). I'll have to double check, but I believe the build date is 1961. Full wood etc, good bore.

I also have an original 98K, 1942, dou manufacture. Now a young fellow I know has spoken up for this one, but I'm not sure what they are worth now days. Laminate stock, full wood, good bore, 8x57, some lacquer finish left on the metal, not a safe queen, but not a pig either.

As I said, I bought these quite a while ago, and they were going under the knife. I just don't have the time (and I have quite a few 98 actions just sitting around as it is), so it's time to clean up the closet, and let some surplus collector have some fun. What do you think guys? Let me hear those Mauser opinions. I could blue book these, but I don't think it has a lot of bearing on reality in Canada. Thanks. - dan

Hard to find pieces in Canada, if complete and at least in Good to VG Condition (usually these are in very rough condition) and half decent bores I would say from $350.00 to $500.00 cdn

Not many 1910's left. They're a small-ring 98 like a Kar98az is, so MANy were torn down for the actions in the 1970's and built into some really nice hign-end sporters, often with full-length international style stocks.
