Price check on NRA Savage

Just checking what one of these is worth. It's an NRA match rifle in 22lr.

All matching numbers, rear sight removed and replaced with a dot sight.

Bore is vg, action very good, good trigger, absolutely no complaints.

The rifle itself is not worth all that much for a collector... The blue looks like it's been redone and the stock should be oiled (not varnish, nor checkered) Is the 8 rounds magazine a Triple-K? The original mags with the little doo-da at the bottom would probably go for close to $50 each down south.

On the other hand, it would make a nice 'plinker' for someone not concerned about 'originality'

As an unoriginal rifle it is just another "plinker" despite its colourful past. I have three similar target Mossbergs and they cost me less than $200 each. But the gun is only worth what anyone is willing to pay for it. The doo dad on the bottom is similar to the adjusting screw that allows .22 shorts to be used in the mags. Mossbergs had the same.
