price check on pre '63 winchester 94

hoping you can help me find a price for a good condition pre '63 (is that the right year?) winchester 94 in 30-30. Thanks.

'64 but close enough. Epp's recently sold one they had listed for $325. Condition is everything. Mind you, they think Commemoratives are worth more than they are too. They're listing a damaged(stock is scratched and out of the original box) 94 RCMP CENTENNIAL at $629. These prices really should be reversed.

Pre '64 Win '94 in .30-30...

If you have one for sale in nice shape it isn't too hard to get ~ $500 for them these days. I have an early 40's carbine that I wouldn't part with for 50% over that again....

I purchased a 1952 Mod 94 in great condition 30-30, 2 years ago at Auction for $300.00. i purchased another 4 months ago for $500.00 and have seen them for 600.00 at auction this fall.

i got one from dante in montreal in oct. it's chambered in .32 spl. DOM 1958 and it layed in to me for $350.00. it's 98% condition.

I have a '53 (30-30) that would be worth between $500-$600. Condition is everything when evaluating old firearms.

all '94's pre 64 and otherwise will increase their value , because they went out of production march 31,2006

I like the way some guys value a gun IF they were to sell it
Then there's guys that come on & disclose what they actually just paid for one

I know which value I would go by

Condition is everything.
There was a day 15+ yrs ago any pre 64 in nice condition was up over $500.
Then 5 yrs ago you could buy some pretty nice ones for $300-350.
I think the value will go up a little, but because they were so very common it's not gonna take any huge increase.

There's a coupld in the EE right now. Both 1950s models. 350 and 400 IIRC...

it all comes down to condition. If these "cheaper" guns are on CGN a long time after posting, means that the condition does not really interest the more knowledgeable "collector"....if you look for a shooter, then $300-$500 is not unreasonable... I have a 1908 30-30, 1949 32 special and a 1954 30-30...these all would be $600 plus. Even the early post 64s are coming into thier own now as most pre-64s are not around long and are appreciating in price. there are lots of "no blueing and marked woods" coming out now, and are really just "shooters" not wall hangers. depends what you look for....
