Price check on Remington

Well, I have been in the market for a used .17 Remington for quite some time now, and I managed to find one at my local gun shop. Its a Remington 700 BDL with a cheap bushnell scope on it. The gun is in great shape, bore looks good, woods good, and nice blueing. So what do you guys think its worth?

That's a cool 788 Arch, but factory barrel or not, I don't think it came out of Remington that way. Neat idea for a great truck coyote gun, though. - dan

Hi, doesn't hurt to make an offer. That rifle has been there a while. I think he is a little high myself as well. Sure it took a few bucks to have that made, but that is the downfall of custom gun work. If you aren't prepared to keep it, don't have it built.

Let us know if he takes your offer or not. I'd be really interested how that 788 .17 shoots.
