price check Parker Hale 1200 TX

Hey Guys

I had an old timer approach me with a rifle. Hes has what appears to be a custom build out of a Parker Hale 1200 TX in 308. The rifle has a McMillan stock with adjustable comb, custom bar shaped trigger, Parker hale rings and bases. I didn't get the specifics on the Leopold Target scope on the gun but lets just say its worth 450 max. The rifle is also being sold with a Harris bipod and a pelican case. What would be a good value on this rifle. I will be posting photos of the gun tomorrow night.

I am going to guess 308.........

depends on round count and condition, hard to put a value on something you can't see, but just to throw something on the table I'd say anywhere between a dollar up to 1200.oo..........what accessories has he got? was it ever set up with a bloop tube and a peep sight? or scope only? There are lots of variables that will affect value...........

Can you guess the value of my truck? not sure what the year or mileage is, its a crew cab short box, new tires and has a diesel engine..........if it means anything its silver, not sure if that will add or take away from fair market value...........

Well generally a 1200TX will bring around 900 or so. Personally I would pay more for one that hasn't been modified, but someone might prefer it the other way. - dan
