I have two very nice rifles that are surplus to my needs. I would like to list them in the EE but I don't want to ask too much or too little for them. I value your opinions as to their worth. Thanks.

1. Cooey, made by Winchester. Model 600 bolt action repeater. Excellent condition, minor wear to right side of stock near butt plate. Bluing is excellent. No scope or anything else is included. ( This rifle was listed in the EE last weekend and sold for full price of $225.00, plus shipping. )

2. CIL made by Anschutz. Model 111 bolt action single shot. Stock has been nicely sanded and refinished. Excellent bluing, nice iron sights. No scope or anything else is included. ( This rifle was listed in the EE last weekend for $175.00, plus shipping. It is still available. )

I paid $120 plus tax for a 600 at and auction if that helps. Seen a few others sell in the last year at near the same price. One auction was out to lunch and they paid almost $200 for some reason but the rest were in the $120 to $140 range.

The C-I-L is a Model 111 and was very much an entry level rifle. Mine cost $17.75 at the local hardware store in 1965, $.50 more than the Cooey 39. In excellent condition, with a present and undamaged extractor, I would guess a range of $125-150.

The CIL Anschutz Model 111 is the same as the Anschutz 1361. It has the Flobert I action, which makes it, as Waba says, "very much an entry level rifle". It does have the cachet of the Anschutz name and so may sell for a little more than an entry level single shot .22LR of North American manufacture.

I agree with your price of $225.00 in the EE. Yours looks to be in great all original condition. I just sold one just like yours for $225.00, if that helps.
