Price check please... Unscrubbed K98

To all the Mauser experts out there, what is the current ballpark price for an unscrubbed (dirty bird intact) mismatched K98 ?
While on the subject, I understand that a few RC unscrubbed examples also exist, does their price closely match an unmatched non-RC rifle?

Roughly 800$ is your price range. Someone who is more knowledgeable can provide a better price point, however even if the Waffenants and such are intact, the fact that it is mismatched really is what kills the value.

Thanks for your response, it's very close to the price I imagined they would fetch.
 
I would put it at a bit less.

I just sold a honest but lightly sanded bolt mismatch for $800.....more matching numbers, more money.
I'd place a totally mm one at $650 tops myself.

Typically from dealers, who sell to people not in the loop, guys who want to pick which they buy, or just prefer to buy there for some reason. Not many RC selling on the second market for over $700
 
as per normal ,with out pictures of the exact example , this is worth less info . Are we talking about a turd or block of silver . if its a mismatch its worth the value of the parts that are serviceable.
Are you talking about a rifle with one mismatched barrel band or every part ?
Has it been refinished post war ? has it sat in a Russian bog for 60 years?
hows the bore? did a vet really bring it home , or bought at the hardware store in 1970 ? wheres the proof?
if your selling turds why would you not want silver prices. go to a gun show you will see tables full.

I see your point, I should have been more specific.

I'm considering placing a WTB ad soon for an unscrubbed K98 and wanted a ballpark figure as to how many pesos I should put aside to pay for it. I would prefer a semi-decent bore a shooting example, as well as most waffenampts visible. As far as parts matching, that would be last on my list of priorities.
