Had a nice afternoon. I had a buddy call me up to look at one of his aquiatance's rifle. By description, I thought it was just going to be another SKS only, missing bayo

Well, it is missing the bayonet but, it's no SKS...it's a Rashid. I love my Ljungmann, I really liked the Hakims I've met...N'er seen/held a Rashid before.

What (ball park only...you haven't seen it and, as far as I could tell condition was "good" aside from no bayonet) are these worth? I don't think I've seen one in the EE only one ad, a while ago, looking for a mag.

Any inputs appreciated

Pics would be great but i think $300-$350 since the bayonet is missing. For a complete rifle, maybe $400-$450 depending on condition.
 
I payed $500 for mine, complete. There wasn't a lot of them manufactured in the first place - you probably know that already - so spare parts are a little scarce. A SKS bayo will not fit unless you further bubba your Rasheed, which would in my opinion defeat the purpose of trying to restore it in the first place. There is a pretty good "support group" on a US forum.

It's pretty close. You'll need the actual dimensions but the mount is pretty much the same. SKS bayos are easy enough to find so if you did the fitting on the bayonet and not the rifle you should be good. need a measure of the muzzle dia where the ring fits... It's not like most other people would know right?
