Helping out a friend, He's looking to buy a new firearm and is curious what His Sako is worth to sell

-Sako 75 Hunter
-Wood, Blued
-7mm rem mag
-Excellent condition
-Round count under 200

Topped with a Tasco Titan scope in 3X9X42

There was a .300 Win Mag wood/blued Sako 75 on this site for a long time in excellent condition for $950.
 
Thanks, He was thinking 1400 for the package as the scope was purchased for 700? I'm not familiar with tasco scopes so I couldnt help him there.
 
Could be right, like i was saying, never purchased one never looked at one. You could be bang on.

here's an idea. Buy a new rifle, keep the sako. After shooting something else, he'll regret selling the sako. They're pretty hard to beat.

It's true, in that price range there's really nothing better than a Sako
 
Oh I couldnt agree more, I know I would never be selling the Sako. However He has a benelli R1 in 300 win mag on order and says he won't be using the Sako anymore. He's gone through some back problems and is looking for something with less kick........
