Hi guys:

I was offered a Sears model 20A 12 guage shot gun and a C.I.L. 22LR bolt action made in Brazil yesterday. Both firearms have good metal, but a couple of smaller dents in the wood. Unfortunately I've never seen these two models before and have no idea on the price . I'd like to pay fair price for them, so does anyone have an idea what these things might be worth?

Thanks
Mark

JC Higgins/Sears Model 20 was a store brand, and is actually a High Standard model 200. This pump has a steel receiver and is considered to be well made and reliable. I expect market value in Canada would be in the range of $150 - $200 if it is in very good condition. I wouldn't mind finding one in good condition myself for a "tactical" project gun.

I can't give you a value for the CIL .22 bolt.

I just bought an Anshutz that sounds like what you are describing, it is stamped CIL too, they are the Canadian importer of the gun. I paid $100 in a shop for it, and it was worth every penny.

Made in Brazil, it's not an Anschutz. It'll be stamped CBC. And nowhere near Anschutz quality. $100 max.

Anschutz design though. It may not be the most pristine rifle in the world, but they are SUPER accurate.

I never did formal shooting, but here's a little video of mine (from last year, I've lost weight since!)

PS, it's so pretty shooting on crown land compared to the range! :D
