Hey guys,

I've got an Remington 141 that I'm in the process of selling that has a Stith mount on it. I'm under no false hopes it's a gold mine, I just think it might be worth separating when I sell the gun for parts.

This isn't an Auto-5 so I'm out of my comfort zone. Just wondering what you guys think?

Thanks,

Cory

I would not seperate it, as then you have a damaged gun (AKA 3 holes in the side reciever) wich will lower the price of the gun. The guy who buys a Rem Model 14/141 wants a period sight/sighting system.

Leave it as is and sell it all together!

I love the old Stith mounts, and pic up odds and ends at gunshows for next to nothing! me and Noel here are the few who enjoy these old mounts, but they are not scarce for Rem 14/141, WIn 54/70 or Savage 99's. The rarest is for thr Rem 513, wich i paid a bundle for!

good luck, Dale Z!

I wasn't too concerned with the holes in the side as it has feeding issues and was planning on saying "For Parts"

If I kept it together, any ballpark idea on a price?

Thanks,

Cory
