I have a winchester model '94 xtr in 30-30 its in almost new condition with a couple of miner dings and a wee bit of surface rust in a couple spots from storage.

Whats the value on these ? Ive heard around 500 but im not too sure.

Re-read the post and got to thinkin', what the heck do miners need a gun for,

especially in dimmly lit confined spaces? No wonder it has dings.

And I'm sure the rust is from the humidity in those shafts.

Sounds about right. A little while ago there was a similar thread (what's a pre-64 94 in ok condition worth?). The consensus was about $300. It was on the EE for $500 the next day. Still on there.
