I am thinking of buying a .357 mag. ruger security six and was wondering what i should expect to pay. Thanks in advance.

Security six ...When i was shopping around for my .357 (about six months ago), Rugers were going from $400.00 to
$550.00 depending on the age and condition . Just my observation.

How do u like the .357? I can't really find anythng negative about the gun.

Ruger vs S&W

It came down to the security six ,and GP100 VS the Smith & wessen ,shot all three many times at my ranges, fond of the rugers ,.. but the trigger won out in the end so i went with the S&W 686 . If you get a good deal on a security six you won't regret it , the gun is a classic .... if i had the $ i'd have all three.

Gunnar at armco machine and plating is selling a security six thats in great condition with holster for 299$
