Epps cannot buy them, only take them for consignment as grandfathering goes from individual to individual. As long as the executor follows the storage and transport rules they are good to go as far as getting them there.
Consigning is still fine, Epps can do that for you. Lots of dealers will do Estates on consignment. In fact Demal services (before he retired) used to advertise the fact.
If the FN is a 12-5 I would be interested. Looks interesting in that it has the early style selector/safety that only the Israeli versions kept, but it looks like it is probably 12-3.

12.2 = full auto
12.3 = converted autos
12.4 = Semi-auto manufactured: Aug, Mac, Sterling, Uzi
12.5 = Named prohib, ie. HK, FN, Thompson, others, etc
12.6 = Short barrel pistols
12.7 = Inherited pre-1946
The real list is more comprehensive, but this is the general idea for our needs here.
Just to confuse things, some guns, ie. Thompson, could be in classes: 12.2, 12.3, or 12.5. Depending on certain characteristics.
The M10A1 pictured, is a closed bolt pistol. They originally came as a 2 calibre set, 9mm & 45acp. It's going to be in the 12.4 class. Not that we can use it as a gauge, but they are costing between $250-$350, in the US with both calibres.

Actually 45 is surprisingly difficult to suppress. That huge bore and low pressure combine to make it a ##### to get really quiet. The smaller 9mm bore and higher gas pressure actually means the 9mm will be considerably quieter with a can. I have measured similar 9mm cans vs 45 cans and the 9mm can easily be 10 dB quieter.
If it is a 12-3 then I can buy it personally. If not my company certainly could. But as Koldt says, it is still only worth what someone is willing to give you for a gun that can't legally be shot. It is sad but prohibs are just not worth very much these days.
Which realistically means that MAC is worth SFA in Canada today.
it's funny this topic comes up as i have had a lot of guys contacting me trying to sell thier m14 12(3) rifles.
given that shortly before they went prohib class they were selling for 300 to 500 retail at a shop i frequented back then (the importer of most of these rifles). matter of fact me and 3 friends bought the lever arms "family pack" , which consisted of a trw, h&r, SA and winchester, m14 rifles, 2 mags each (20 rounders) and a case of 500 7.62 x51 ...... for .... wait for it....... 1250.00 canadian...... fast forward thru 20 years liberal enforced safe queendom...... and somehow they have managed to reach collosal prices of 1500 to 2000.00
at least that's what most folks who contact me want for them.
given the parts are valuable and useful in many cases for conversions to chinese receivers..... but this is after some hours of gunsmith work , dismantling and evaluating the parts for serviceability.
realistically, i value the m14 12(3) prohibs at 650.00 to 1000.00 as reasonable value increase over 20 years due the usefulness of the parts that can be gleaned for rifle builds on semi auto receivers.
