I'm getting a Glock in the next few months and I'm trying to decide between the .40 and 9mm. Is there much of a difference in the price of the ammo?
Thanks.

Well it seems to me that 9mm ammo is very cheap now! I remember the day when you saved big bucks reloading, now the price is very modest to buy ammo.

Commercial 9mm seems to be a fair bit cheaper than 40.

If you reload, the difference is not as much.

I know this is not your question, but If I were choosing I would go with the 9mm. I had a Glock 22 & found it to be a very snappy recoil & not that pleasant to shoot. But I realize that was not the question. Just putting in an opinion.

I get factory 9mm for $220 per thousand plus tax. Don't know about .40 cal. I buy remanufactured .45 from a licensed trusted source for $300 per thousand including tax if I throw in the brass.
