Price estimate for Norinco M14.

OP: why sell it? If you put that much into it, keep it!

You're right. I may very well keep it.

Along with some of the work listed above. I'm having M14 Medic go over the receiver of that, and another M14 to see where they stand, dimensionally. Maybe I should have done that before doing any work. Nevertheless, it will help me to decide what to do with both rifles going forward.

I was just rereading all the posts. So much has changed for firearms owners, in Canada, since this post. We went from debating the merits of the M305 to never again having the possibility of even owning one. For that matter, any MIA platform. Not to mention, all the other rifles we discussed, openly, on this forum.
Knowing what you know now, do you regret not having purchased that M1A or M305? On the other hand, do you wish that you had sold said rifle before the ban? I'm sure there are many M305s and M1As out there that might, possibly, never see the light of day again, but their owners will never regret purchasing them.
I'm amongst the category of once M305 owners that regrets no longer owning one, and no longer having the possibility of owning one.

I wish I bought one before the ban I still want one, I still want the ar15s and ak47s I’m not allowed to get I still want more handguns,I don’t think it’s fair that my grandfather could own full autos and choose not to, my only regret these last few years is not buying the guns I had the opportunity to get pre 2020

I had the m305 with the mim bolt
It was a complete pos it was so out of spec it could not be repaired
Sent it back to NS and they replaced it with a different one
Got rid of that one as soon as I got it
Yep I wished I would have spent the extra $$$ and got the Springfield
I’d prob still have it if I did and now can never get one because of our incompetent govt :(

A few years back I had a chance to buy a Norinco M305 that was in very nice shape -- wood furniture, not abused. I don't know why I decided against it but it was definitely a regret after someone else bought it and I lost my chance.
