Price gouging.

Like anything , it is free market , and people are allowed to buy , or sell , at whatever price they choose . ####### is useful as it uses filters to limit the area to local in which guns are being sold , and then you can do face to face cash and carry deals . You can inspect the firearm on the spot , negotiate if you wish , pay your cash , and avoid the shipping . Quite often a local seller will even throw in some ammo on the deal when doing face to face deals.

Wait for this to start happening;

Business can start credit card surcharges on October 6th, 2022 up to 2.4% per transaction.

That $1k purchase on your credit card can cost you $24 bucks more

A business will have to weigh the pros and cons of charging this...it may back fire. Consumers are feeling the bite of inflation and soaring interest charges already....add almost 2.5% more and the may just say FCK it and walk.
Just went and bought primers the other day and they were almost 115% increase from a year ago. Unfknreal!!

I've been afraid to consider a private sale as a buyer. Even if I'm willing to pay the high price, the guy exists, and his RPAL credentials are up to snuff, what happens if I EMT the money and then the guy doesn't fulfill his side of the deal? I'm out the money, and have no recourse other than civil litigation which would take more time and money than it would be worth to recoup the funds. Seems too risky to me.

You should make a new thread for that

Been good working on the EE here on CGN (look at my trader rating) and also on #######. Both good places. As always, carry out your due diligence and keep your wits about you. :wave:

Cheers,
