Just spotted a rockchucker master kit (c/w speer manual 13 still in the wrap so it's a bit of old stock since 14 is usually coming with them now) - this thing is NIB.

What's this kit worth retail these days?

These days? IMHO, If it looks reasonable and you want one, buy it. Also you might just be happier with that older model than with the new "made in China" versions. A hand primer is small potatoes. By all means compare prices so you don't get screwed but with gear being scarce and prices going up the way they are, a dealer would be nuts to bargain one off then be empty handed when the next paying customer comes along.

Ain't a dealer - i think it's "joe with no clue". Any idea what it sell for on EE? - I would resell it.

Today $ 450 CDN is a good price, $ 499 not uncommon.

I use an old Speer # 6 Manual... as much as I use a # 13,
and at least 5 other Manuals. ( Sierra, Nosler, Hornady, Barnes & Hodgdon)

Where's the best place to get one of these kits from the US?

I just had one all priced out and ready to go at basspro.com, and thought I hit the jackpot, until there was a little message saying to add 45% of the price to the total as shipping for international orders .

Locally, the kits go for $499.99, which seems a little excessive, but I may not have much of an option with the amount some places are charging for the shipping.

I'm looking for a place where I just enter my card info, and the kit shows up on my doorstep or at the post office. I have no intention of picking it up from the border, and I have no US relatives nice enough to forward it to me.

350$ shipped to my door from bass pro 3 weeks ago.

I got to the checkout on Bass Pro's website, and there was a box with a notice saying something to the extent of adding 45% of the price as shipping or some BS. Does this not apply? I'd love to get my hands on one for $350 shipped. The money saved would pay for a few dies.

I paid this.
279.99 for the kit
75.00 ish got shipping, handeling, taxes(canadian)
-20.00( I got an email for 20$ off. It was not supposed to be for INTL orders but i did get it)

Hey civicbam, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for posting the link to that coupon. It did in fact work, and knocked another $20 off the purchase, a $20 discount I would have had absolutely no idea existed. That was very cool of you to post that in addition to answering my query about the shipping, and I want to thank you heartily for going the extra step. My new rockchucker is on it's way, and I'm looking forward to re-filling all my once-fired brass I have kicking around that I've been saving since the day I started shooting. I've been using factory all this time, now it's time to start customizing :).
