The price of anything and everything sold in this world is based on the Law of Supply and Demand. Anything and everything....you name it.

If all CGNners stop buying CZ surplus ammo today, and shoot some other caliber instead, price will come down eventually.
 
I'm wondering if the market will get flooded with cheap, current production 7.62x39mm after the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan end?:confused:

Some of you guys might have been too young to remember, but I can recall ads for surplus ammo being sold really cheap in the U.S. a few years after the first Gulf War.

I even saw ads for Canadian surplus 5.56x45mm on stripper clips (in ammo cans) going for nice prices.
 
Because the Liberal civil servants that run this country are untouchable.

They set policy and regulations and not the people, nor the government can make them do it differently.

The bilingual labeling is a federal requirement for all products, not just ammo. God knows why they couldn't have just put one label on the outside of the crates, though.

This was similar to govt. hit squad that came into our store last year to make sure most of the Shooters Choice cleaning products were removed from the shelves because they did not contain the little international symbols that indicate poison or other dangerous contents. We knew they were coming so we went and printed our own lables and put them on each bottle but this was not good enough as they had to be marked by the original manufacturer. All of products had to be removed from the shelves and they said we would be charged if we tried to sell them. Shooters Choice will not send any new product to Canada as they feel the market is too small to justify new labeling. Phil.

Stupid morons.

The first crates of M43 I bought from Marstar had no labeling on them, then the ones I bought from Lever had UN stickers on the outside.

Leave it to NRCAN to make things difficult or impossible.:rolleyes:

However, all it will take is for the government to axe a few senior positions to make the rest of those idiots ask "how high?" when told to jump.

We need a Rob Ford to eraticate this useless bunch of vermin who do nothing more than feed off us taxpayers and contribute absolutly nothing in return. Their right up there with the bloc of s**t as far as I'm concerned and shoud be terminated asap.

I would have to say that NRCAN has been pretty good about it up to now. The labelling requirements have always been there, and I would guess they have known fully well about them. However they likely got attention and they had to step in because some retailers started selling individual packs/sleeves, rather than just full cases.
 
And really....

How Many years has it been in the $169 - $199 range for a Crate???
3 or 4 years at least....and people ##### now that the price has gone up

If you could not get off the couch in the last 4 years and buy a few cases....too bad.

Could have bought a couple cases a year... or more and have 10 cases plus sitting in pretty . (skip that case of beer or steak dinner)

It has been said many times. Buy it cheap...stack it deep.
 
The days of buying Norinco yellow or silver box at around $200 a crate are gone, gone, gone. The supply of corrosive for cheap is drying up - or at least won't be around forever. Buy it now. The idea of paying big bucks for non reloadable non corrosive is not reasonable.
