Price of original Colt Python grips

Since I intend to shoot my 4" Python, I was surfing the net looking for Python grips and was shocked to learn what ORIGINAL Python grips go for in USD !!!

If they are in mint condition, they command prices as high as $500 USD !!! Holy Cow!

The grips alone are an investment and I can buy any repro grips I want for a fraction of that.

Depends on which gen of python you're referring to. Early stuff is spendy. S&W grips too. On the colt front official police, original trooper and 357 magnum grips will fit the python too. - dan
