Pricecheck - USGI Fiberglass Stock

Well, they USED to go for around $50, but since the more strict import limitations (m14 is now considered 'military' and has more limitations), expect to pay a little more than $100.

Fredsm14, go there and decide what you want. I got an As New synth stock with all metal for $50 usd, and other stuff. Guys have been stiffed by Freds orders that never showed up.

I had no problems, took about 1 1/2 wks from order to delivery. I did my order last month.

Same experience with Fred's

Just received my synth stock from Fred's last week as well.

Quick, cheap, and no problem. Get one while you can!

I can never figure out why some people have luck with Fred's, while others (like me) get nothing shipped.

Weird service.

Numrich, on ht eother hand, shipped quickly.

Did both of you have the Fred's stocks mailed to your Canadian address without problem?

Yup, UPS guy delivered it and there was bullsh1t UPS fees to deal with. I just signed for it and went inside to unpack. I guess when freds calculates and charges for the shipping its the total cost so you dont get screwed with extra payments.

but I read of another member who got dinged with UPS fees upon delivery.

Yes, I received quick delivery b/c it was UPS. But if you want to avoid the huge brokerage fee, ask that they use US Postal service instead.

I think I will have to order another stock to fit the other M305 I want to order. Addiction it is!
:D

I tried to place an order for 2 M-14 stocks from Fred's last week and got this as a reply 3 days ago:

Temp hold on shipments to Canada while we ascertain whether Canadian
authorities will allow importation of M14 rifle stocks...

I was under the impression that US customs were the problem ? I thought that they were not allowing export of firearms parts ? I've never heard anything about Canadian Authorities having a problem with it; As far they're concerned its a big chunk of plastic. I was gonna order one from there too...

Ya but the U.S. likes to see the paperwork saying that it's OK to import before they issue paperwork saying it's OK to export. If there is enough demand from all the people up here buying two new M -14's each maybe Dave's will set up for easy export.
It would be even better if someone up here like Questar,Marstar or Rockstar
would just import a couple hundred Stocks from Dave's and sell them at a reasonable profit.
