Priceless!

Sheeit, 3" or 3.5"?? We rarely get a shot beyond 30 yards with full body dekes and good calling so we shoot 2 3/4" ammo out of our skeet or Imp. Cyl chokes. I was shooting Federal Classic Steel loads I bought many years ago loaded with 1 1/8 oz #2 shot with muzzle velocity on box of 1365fps. And at those ranges and slowed down speeds as the birds are backpedaling its 6" in front of the beak and whammo.

I used a lot of Federal 2 3/4" #4's last year in my 20 for geese and ducks.
liked it a lot!
Open chokes for me as well, experience has taught me that too tight a choke is no good for steel.....

Hunters really are the richest men in the world. We're more closely connected to nature and we take the time to appreciate the finer things in life - including the fundamentals of life itself.

You could say we take time to smell the coffee.:D

I couldn't have said it better myself, although there are hundreds of other reasons this statement is true, well said.
