prices for sks rifles

there is a guy near me whos selling russian sks's for $170 i was wondering if that was a fair price as i dont know much about them

Prices range from $160.00 to $200.00 from dealers, no need to pay anymore.

Somes have black bolt and painted, other are blued with silver bolt, you may encounter painted sks but with silver bolt too.

Some I have seen are silver bolt with blued bayonets, mostly stock refurbs, some looked to be on their 3rd and 4th stocks.

Then there is also Murdoc's Arma-Coated 1's that with a chomed bore make rusting almost imposible.
As for $170 for a rifle as long as it works I would grab it. Hell the most exspensive thing will bee the ammo

All ours right now are silver bolt, silver bayo, Grade 1 barrels on 90% of our SKS. (grade 1 is either unfired or excellent condition)

170.00 seems to be the norm on my side of the country, as long as its in good condition. A cheap semi-auto rifle if you asked me. Cheers.
