Prices on EE for Non-Restricted

This... FOMO hurts... you need to fight the temptation and think logically... is a un of the mill SKS probably worth $400 now... absolutely... if it goes on the list the government will probably still give you $200-$300 so worst case scenario you’re out a bit of money... I truly wonder about these individuals paying 4000+ right now for things like thE ATRS rifles, the poorly finished FAMAE (when you compare it to a real Swiss one), and the handful other rifles on the market.

The logic doesn’t make sense to me. 95%+ of us are law abiding citizen. If this OIC sticks around and we lose in court, the sad reality is [bmost will take a reasonable amount from them from the government rather than let them sit in safes with welded chambers.[/b].. so it boggles my mind to be honest... if the OIC is scrapped, great, you’ll get what you want at a realistic uninflated price. If things don’t work out, you’re not out anything because you chose to wait it out... just my opinion... but then again not my money...

You’ve forgotten one option.

I would have thought prices should be going down on semi autos right now. I'm not too keen on sinking money into them at the moment due to the likely hood that they will become worthless if there is not a change in government.

You hit the nail.

Wait a while and they’ll go down in price below market. They’re just a temporary price inflation because of demand at the moment.

I've been making some serious profits the last couple of weeks. Sold at least 20 rifles all with at least with 25% markup and I didn't even get a single compliant.

I notice allot of 'Newbies' or members with 0/1/2 feedback, all a sudden Listing/Selling all these NR {High Priced} Black Rifles. Be Cautious, I wouldn't buy, seems possible scammers in the rafters, taking advantage.

It all depends on what you anticipate: this might be the best or worst time to buy or sell depending on what you think might happen later.
Are the Liberals going to win the next elections?
When are the next elections going to be held?
Will the Liberals win a majority?
What is going to be the impact of Covid-19? <-- This is a gigantic issue: if we go in a depression, all bets are off!!!

I'm surprised at how many people have $3000-$5000 to spend on a gun now considering the Covid affect on wages and overtime. I have seen some good deals where you can tell someone needs money that day but for the most part prices are not going down on most firearms.

I agree with you that people are greedy as f.. but then its a free market.. cant really do much other than retailers implicate one firearm per person policy

You sound like you would get along well with the management of Cheaper Then Dirt. Never afraid to price gouge during trying times.

PS - I hate cheaper then dirt, they can rot in hell.

I respect that people have the right to sell and buy products at whatever price they think it's worth.

That said, people taking advantage of trying times, I think is despicable and one of the lowest forms of humanities. I would put these people in the same category as those hoarding sh*t tickets during this "pandemic".
